AWS Summits cover topics like AI, Cloud Infastructure, Data, Migration, App Modernisation and Security, and take place globally throughout the year, drawing in thousands of attendees who are looking to either start their journey with cloud technologies, or if they’re experts in the field and looking to advance their knowledge and solve complex issues.

The Creative
In 2025, I was given the opportunity to act as the Lead Animator for the Summits in Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta. I worked alongside a talented team of Art Directors, 3D Set Designers, and a slew of Graphic Designers to create Key Visuals and animations that levelled up the visual identity of each event, giving each city a distinct and unique set of motion assets that harmonised with the overall brand identity of AWS.
SINGAPORE
The Deliverables
Within each event, there was a large amount of assets that needed to be created. Initial focus was aimed at creating a strong Key Visual that gave audiences a real WOW moment when walking into the Keynote room. With each event, these Key Visuals evolved - we started with cultural silhouetted moments in Bangkok, moving onto a roving cityscape for Singapore, and then further building on that for Jakarta by introducing the iconic Ondel-Ondel figures at key points in the animation.
In addition to this, a slew of additional assets needed to be created in tandem with the KV - LED screens in and out of the venue; Breakout rooms; DOOH animated signage; advertorial walls; speaker slides and lower thirds; plus various broadcast elements were all present at each event, requiring a keen eye for detail and a steady workflow to stay on top of it all.
